Intentional Museum by Randi Korn & Associates, Inc. (RK&A)
We are planning, evaluation, and research specialists who support museums and other informal learning organizations as they pursue achieving impact. Our main office is in Alexandria, Virginia and a satellite office is in New York.
We provide the highest quality planning, evaluation, and research services available to informal learning organizations. Our planning services include impact planning, applied research, and evaluation. Guided by the belief that informal learning has unique value in society, RK&A uses intentional planning and evaluation to help informal learning organizations clarify, measure, and communicate their value.
Our Founding Director, Randi Korn, has thirty years experience working with all types of organizations, including art, history, natural history, science, technology, and children’s museums; historic sites; nature centers and botanical gardens; and zoos and aquaria. Over these years, RK&A has defined its approach by asking questions to seek clarity, upholding high-quality standards, and working with their clients to improve informal teaching and learning practices.
We aspire to create new ways of working to empower all staff to collaborate and continually learn by integrating intentional planning and evaluation processes into daily work, thus strengthening the organization’s ability to achieve its intended impact. We demonstrate our commitment by sharing our specialized knowledge and expertise with professionals in informal learning organizations and the community at large.
